Our modular design allows the equipment to flexibly adapt to different vehicle models and seat structures, enabling rapid transitions and expansions while reducing modification costs.
All solutions come with a five-year warranty and long-term technical support, ensuring stable operation under high-intensity, continuous production. The finished foam has a uniform structure and durable resilience, meeting stringent automotive safety and comfort standards. Choosing Pioneer ensures comprehensive leadership in seat comfort, durability, and production efficiency, allowing you to seize market opportunities.

PIONEER sandwich panel production line

Traditional sandwich panel production often encounters problems such as uneven thickness, numerous bubbles, and significant raw material waste, which directly impact finished product quality and delivery efficiency. Pioneer utilizes precise foaming and constant-temperature curing technology to ensure uniform panel density, a smooth surface, and a stable structure. It also supports rapid switching between panels of varying thicknesses and specifications, significantly improving production flexibility and capacity. Its modular design and intelligent control system maximize raw material utilization, reducing energy consumption and waste costs. Furthermore, Pioneer provides comprehensive technical training and a five-year warranty, enabling customers to achieve high-quality mass production in the shortest possible time and secure market leadership.

PU Sandwich Panel (PUF Panel) Production Line — Buyer’s Overview

A PU sandwich panel production line — known across India, Pakistan and South Asia as a PUF panel machine (PUF = polyurethane foam) — injects rigid polyurethane between two metal facings to produce insulated panels for cold storage, cold rooms, roofing sheet, warehouses and prefabricated buildings.

The line meters and mixes two-component PU at high pressure, distributes it across the moving facings, and cures the panel under controlled heat and pressure. Panel thickness, width, core density and facing profile are configured to your product — whether you are making cold storage panels, PUF roofing sheet, or clean-room partitions.

New to the process? See our PU sandwich panel line buying guide. For spray-applied insulation instead of panels, see the PU spray foam machine; for the high pressure metering unit itself, see the high pressure PU machine.

Continuous vs Discontinuous PUF Panel Line — Which Do You Need?

The single biggest decision when buying a PUF panel machine. It is driven by your annual volume and how many panel formats you run.

 Continuous (double-belt)Discontinuous (press)

Cold storage and cold room fabricators most often start with a discontinuous press line; PUF roofing sheet producers usually need a continuous line. Tell us your annual m² and panel mix and we will size it.

What PUF Panels Are Used For

  • Cold storage & cold rooms — the largest application. PUF panel is the standard insulated envelope for cold storage plants, freezer rooms and food processing.
  • PUF roofing sheet & wall cladding — insulated roofing for warehouses, factories and pre-engineered buildings.
  • Prefabricated & modular buildings — PUF panel houses, site cabins, clean rooms.
  • Solar / off-grid cold storage — growing rapidly for agricultural produce in India and Africa.
  • Food processing & pharma clean rooms — hygienic, washable insulated partitions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PUF panel machine?
PUF stands for polyurethane foam. A PUF panel machine (also called a PU sandwich panel production line) injects rigid polyurethane between two metal facings to make insulated panels for cold storage, cold rooms, roofing sheet and prefabricated buildings. It is the same equipment referred to as a sandwich panel machine in Europe.
How are PUF panels made?
Two-component polyurethane (polyol + isocyanate) is metered at high pressure, mixed, and distributed onto a moving lower facing. The upper facing is applied, and the panel passes through a heated double belt or press where the foam rises and cures, bonding to both facings. The panel is then cut to length and stacked.
Continuous or discontinuous line — which should I buy?
Discontinuous (press) lines suit cold storage / cold room fabricators running varied formats at medium volume, with a lower entry cost. Continuous (double-belt) lines suit high-volume roofing and wall panel production. Send us your annual m² and panel mix for a recommendation.
What panel thickness can the line produce?
Typically 30–200 mm. Cold storage panels are commonly 75, 100 or 150 mm depending on the room temperature; roofing sheet is usually thinner. Thickness range is configured when the line is specified.
What does a PUF panel manufacturing plant cost?
It depends on line type (continuous vs discontinuous), panel width, output and level of automation — the metering unit, press/belt and facing handling are the main cost drivers. Send us your target output and panel formats and we will quote an exact configuration and lead time within 24 hours.
Do you supply to India and export markets?
Yes. Yongjia has manufactured polyurethane equipment since 2006 and exports to 60+ countries, with OEM/ODM and CE support, plus installation and operator training.
